Hmmmm. why does cpanel tell me im close to using my allocated disk space???  Well you guessed it, Cpanel will tell you once you have reached limitations on your hosting account. if ignored you could be suspended, users may not be able to access anything on your site making it loose valuable SEO points.

4. Always keep a backup.

Advantages of a VoIP system over ISDN.

Advantages of a VoIP system over ISDN.

Well….. we’ve come to the point in time where we need to embrace new tech or keep living in the past. Yup that’s right today were tackling VoIP vs ISDN.

Let’s get started. What is it?

ISDN

Integrated Services for Digital Network (ISDN) is a Communication standard for simultaneous digital transmission of voice, video, data, and other network services over the traditional circuits of the public switched telephone network. It was first defined in 1988 in the CCITT red book. And has stuck around ever since. Boasting it’s the Digital Public switched telephone network (PSTN) its expensive outdated and takes a long time to provision new lines into the system.

VoIP

(Voice over IP) is an IP telephony term for a set of facilities used to manage the delivery of voice information over the Internet. VoIP involves sending voice information in digital form in discrete packets rather than by using the traditional circuit-committed protocols of the public switched telephone network. Becoming popular in the 2000’s this technology is purely digital. It hits the telephone network at the other end if the users on an analogue line. This is the new cutting edge technology that’s provisioned in minutes and scalable in seconds.

How does it work?

Well your ISDN runs over the horrible copper network to the exchange and then out to the telephone network voila! You have a phone call. (Not overly different to an analogue line)

VoIP on the other hand works via your Modem so you dial a number it opens a session with a server that’s connected to the PSTN and communicates information back in the session. Voila you have a phone call (much different to analogue)

So the advantages of VoIP are that it’s flexible scale-able and you can do so much more with VoIP and your able to make multiple calls per one phone number.

Maximizing your Connections?

So the best way to maximize the way you connect is by implementing a PABX now most businesses will find that they’re expensive. But we say no. you can pick up a good IP PABX for about $2000 (with about 4 phones) I know what your thinking . whats the quality of this phone system . well it rivals most proprietary phone systems like Cisco CUCM, and Avaya IPPBX.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 19, 2016 – Intel Corporation today announced the availability of its 6th Generation Intel® Core™ vPro™ processor family for the modern workforce. The latest iteration of Intel Core vPro processors addresses the security and productivity demands of large businesses with new innovations in authentication security, enhanced performance and collaboration for 2 in 1s, Ultrabooks™, All-in-Ones and the latest desktops.

“With incredible, new, eye-catching designs, added performance, and longer battery life, the 6th Gen Intel Core and Intel Core vPro processors are setting a new standard for business computing,” said Tom Garrison, vice president and general manager for the Intel Business Client division. “By also adding enhanced security capabilities in the hardware, Intel has helped to make these newest PCs an integral part of a business’s overall security solution, making users more secure and productive than ever before.

Locking the PC’s Virtual Front Door with More than Password Protection
Hackers are finding new ways to break into old PCs through the virtual front door by stealing user credentials to gain privileges inside organizations. Today, more than half of data breaches start with misused or stolen user credentials5. Older PCs that use eight-character passwords that change every 90 days worked well a decade ago, but increasingly sophisticated attack methods require a deeper level of security.

To address this, Intel is previewing a new security innovation called Intel® Authenticate for businesses to begin internally testing and qualifying. Intel Authenticate is a hardware-enhanced, multifactor authentication solution that strengthens identity protection on the PC, making it less vulnerable2 to identity and security credential attacks.

Intel Authenticate verifies identities by using a combination of up to three hardened factors at the same time: “something you know,” such as a personal identification number; “something you have,” including a mobile phone; and “something you are,” like a fingerprint. IT can choose from multiple hardened factors of authentication that are based on company policies, and no longer has to rely solely on employees remembering complicated passwords2. Intel Authenticate is compatible with Microsoft Windows* 7, 8 and 10, and is available for customers to preview.

Upgrading Business PCs Adds Productivity, Reduces Overall Cost
Older laptops can cost businesses $4,203 per year, for every three PCs, in maintenance and lost productivity6. New business PCs can help address this by delivering up to 2.5 times the performance and a 30-times increase in graphics performance over a 5-year-old device7, providing users with much more productive and powerful business tools1, 8, 9, 10.

Acer*, Asus*, Dell*, Fujitsu*, HP*, Lenovo*, Panasonic* and Toshiba* are all releasing enterprise-ready devices featuring the new Intel processors. Enterprise buyers can choose from a variety of designs including 2 in 1s, Ultrabooks, ultrathin clamshells, mini PCs and All-in-One desktops tailored to any work environment to meet the needs of businesses of any size.

A New and Better Way to Meet
The way businesses collaborate across the globe is changing, however the meeting room tools that enable effective meetings have not kept pace with a more dispersed workforce. Intel is introducing updates to Intel® Unite™ for a smarter and more connected way to meet in the workplace. It includes extended display capabilities so meeting participants no longer need to search for the right adapter or dongle. Both onsite and remote attendees can more easily and securely view and interact with content in real time. Employees can instantly start meetings using new or existing displays or projectors. Auto-disconnect and integration of Skype for Business offer customers a seamless meeting experience.

Helping Small and Medium Businesses Grow
For small businesses, Intel is offering Intel® Small Business Advantage (Intel SBA), an easy-to-use solution to help small business owners protect and grow their company. It provides small business owners with an easy and centralized way to connect and share information coupled with automatic security and maintenance updates. Intel SBA includes collaboration features, such as chat and file share, coupled with security capabilities, like the USB blocker, to help keep small business owners in control of their data.

Top 5 Laptops of 2015/2016

From tablets to laptops with screens that flip over on themselves and note-saving tablets, there are plenty of options when it comes to staying productive in 2016.
We take you into our world and review 5 of the best upcoming laptops in 2016.

Coming in first The Dell XPS 13

xps13hero-650-80

With a core I5 processor and onboard intel hd5500 graphics, 8gb of ram, an ultra-sharp QHD+ touch display and a roaring fast 256gb SSD this astonishingly light and thin laptop falls into our number 1 spot, its fast stylish and uses the newest generation of the intel core range (for those that know it’s the skylake processors) the thing is we’ve got to admit, *sigh* There are down sides, No Ethernet port and a mildly annoying off Centre webcam make this laptop still good but like all good things have to have flaws too. Not too badly priced either at $2499

A close Second The Lenovo Yoga 700

lenovo-laptop-yoga-700-14-front-13

Stylish designs will see you looking good in the boardroom with a little powerhouse to keep you going, with an i5 or i7 processor this little machine packs some punch, sporting windows 10 and a 14inch Full 1080P HD screen you won’t be disappointed, Just wait for the best part its available from $1500.

Asus Zenbook UX305

Asus ZenBook UX305-15-650-80

Third on our list is the Asus Zenbook UX305, Now this ones not as punchy as the Lenovo or the Dell but it still packs a punch with a intel core M processor and Intel HD 5300 Graphics onboard, 8gbs of ram a 13.3 Inch FHD screen and a an superfast 256 SSD it will still run windows like a dream, only downsides to this laptop are that it has tinny speakers and its rather difficult graphics driver. Sporting the looks of a MacBook that many like it will look good on your desk whilst your coworkers look in awe. It’s got a modest price tag from about $1400

Fourth on the list is the HP Spectre x360

hp-spectre-x360-09

With a core i5 processor and yet again intel hd 5500 graphics with 8gb of ram and a 13.3 Full HD touch screen and a 256gb SSD (I’m sensing a theme here) it has more than enough guts to run windows 10, it fits between Laptop and Tablet, it’s that perfect hybrid, not overly lightweight but it’s a little powerhouse, and were back to the downsides again, firstly it’s too heavy for 2016 were looking at light weight stunning laptops with the latest and greatest in tech, also its got a really annoying track pad that if your arms tilt in like mine do you’ll always move your mouse and click whilst typing.
For this ones got an overly large price tag of $2149

Last but not least Acer Chromebook C910

Acer-C910-Chromebook_right-facing

The Acer chrome Book 15 C910, it’s got an I5-5200 processor (dual core) and Intel 5500 HD Graphics, 4gb of ram and a 15.6 inch full HD and a not overly great sides 32gb SSD. It’s got Chrome OS (straight from google). It’s got a stylish looks and speedy performance and a long battery life. Only downsides this laptops got is a pretty annoying awkward keyboard and it’s a little on the heavy side.
